The Good: Nice layout. Plenty of keyset, presets to please anyone. Super easy to use and get use to. Built in Media Player keyset. Side spacebar button. Fold out feet. Cord storage area makes for easy storage and protection. Perfect for LAN parties. Easy to disassemble and re-assemble. Basic driver setup, nothing to complicated for anyone to get confused with. Great ambidextrous design works for all gamers. Allows up to 7 simultaneous keystrokes to eliminate ghosting problems.
The Bad: Design is bland. Only back lighted part of the Gamepad was the "Z" logo. Very hard to reach 7-11 quick switch weapon keys. Rather large, can take up a good bit of desk space.
Conclusion: The Fang is a great tool for the casual gamer who wants a nice keyboard alternative. Most impressive is the built in presets along with the portability of the Gamepad. The Fang really won't appeal to any gamers who are interested in design, but it will perform at a level that even a hardcore gamer can respect.
Other: Upon closer inspection the Driver Control Panel takes up a lot of resource power only when open. When minimized it is ~6.5MB.
