Customize your Internet Explorer Title Bar
Written by Matt Herrin

This short guide will tell you how to Customize you own Internet Explorer ID.

First off by IE's title bar is set to have the website your looking at and followed by that is "Microsoft Internet Explorer" or sometimes the name of your ISP with it. Just depends.

To correct this or customize it to say whatever you want. follow the folloiwing steps:

Click "Run"

Type "regedit"

Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Main

Now you have found the appropriate directory your going to double-click the Window Title icon in the right pane
(If you don't see this icon, right-click in the pane, choose New, String Value, type Window Title, and press "Enter".)

Now type what you want to see on the title bar, or don't type anything if you want to get rid of whats their and just show the current websites name.

Note: The hyphen that normally separates the site name from the page title will stay.

Now when you launch Internet Explorer you will see the change.

And the end result is above.
